Overnight mooring

Allington moorings
Subject to available space, overnight mooring can be provided within the lock cut at Allington.
Please phone ahead to book a spot.
Contact the lock. Please refer to the charges section to see the cost for an overnight mooring.


Other Moorings are also available on the rest of the Medway at the following locations:

1. Maidstone Town Centre - public moorings on the left bank looking upstream.

2. East Farleigh Lock (approx 250m below the lock ) 12 Mooring posts - FREE to use

3. Teston Lock (approx 500m above the lock). Six mooring posts controlled by Kent County Council. To book or enquire about charges, please phone 01622 817623.

4. Yalding casual moorings. Left bank looking upstream. Timber linear moorings just upstream of the Boathouse Pub. £8 per night (turn up and pay).

5. Stoneham Lock. 3 sites (approx 10 boats) Timber mooring posts with mooring rings. Ship to shore plank required. Charge - FREE

6. Sluice Weir Lock. Timber mooring posts with mooring rings. Ship to shore plank required. Charge - FREE

7. Oak Weir Lock. 1 - 3 spots on the rear of the downstream landing stage. Charge - FREE

8. East Lock. 1 - 3 spots on the rear of the downstream landing stage. Charge - FREE

9. Cannon Lane Bridge, Tonbridge. Timber mooring posts with mooring rings. Ship to shore plank required. Charge - FREE

10. Tonbridge town centre. Council owned moorings on the left bank looking upstream just below the town's bridge. (Charge details on the sign adjacent to the mooring).
